The Ripper

The heart cracks a little
Fragile to the flow of air
Ripped out of the chest
Big hole formed a-wrecking
Accompanied by regret
Drifting in different directions

Illusionary escape
Begotten by a storm
Upon impossibility
The heart stops aching
The mind stops thinking
Why should time be wasted?

Shaking off the spell
White teeth in wicked smile:
“I never wanted anything
but your heart – It’s gone.
You have nothing more to give
just a ghost that haunts my gaze.”

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 920 times in 2013. If it were a cable car, it would take about 15 trips to carry that many people.
