The Third Dimension. The Holy Trinity. The Triad. Three.
Have you ever wondered why at most times, we do things in threes? Its roots, stem from the meaning of multiplicity. Its creative power: Growth. Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation and synthesis. It is the first number to which the meaning “all” was given. It is the number of the whole, as it has contain the beginning, the middle, and the end.
The power of three is universal and is the tripartite nature of the world as Heaven, Earth, and Water. It is human as Body, Soul and Spirit. Three is Birth, Life, and Death. It is the Beginning, Middle and End. Three is a complete cycle unto itself. It is Past, Present, and Future.
Three is the heavenly number, representing soul.
Pythagorean three means completion.
And of course, we’re all familiar with these: Genies always grant three wishes, there are three blind mice, three prince and princesses, three witches, three virtues of charity: Faith, Hope and Love, and who’ve grown not knowing, the three little pigs? All these among others, using the power of three.
One of my favorite numbers… Yes, it’s 3!
